Tyco Security Products introduces the new exacqVision M-Series, a cost-effective CCTV NVR that is easy to install and use. The exacqVision M-Series expands the All-in-One Recorder category Exacq launched last March with the LC-Series PoE+ recorder.
Similar to the higher-capacity, higher PoE power LC-Series, the M-Series includes integrated PoE camera ports and the feature-rich exacqVision START video management software, which can easily be upgraded to the Professional or Enterprise software.
Users can connect up to eight IP CCTV cameras per recorder and can view and administer live and recorded video directly from the recorder using the included exacqVision client or remotely using a web browser or exacqVision client on a separate computer. The free Exacq Mobile app also allows users to view live and recorded video on iOS or Android mobile devices.
According to the Company
“It’s always our goal to provide the most cost-effective, intuitive video solutions to our customers,” said Ryan Hulse, Senior Product Manager, Tyco Security Products. “The exacqVision M-Series does exactly that – bringing unique PoE camera management and reliable video recording performance at a price point that is appealing to smaller applications.”
Like all exacqVision recording solutions, the M-Series is very easy to install, utilising exacqVision EasyConnect to find, address and connect Illustra and other IP cameras to the network automatically and self-configure for motion-based recording. This enables users to simply plug in their IP CCTV cameras and start recording, significantly reducing installation time and labour. To further simplify maintenance, the M-Series recorder enables users to remotely monitor and control power to individual cameras with no separate switch management software required.
