Hanwha Techwin’s Launch and Prize Boom

Hanwha Techwin launched its 2MP Wisenet 55x IR PTZ Dome Camera with a 55x optical zoom, a Gyro sensor for accurate stabilisation in windy conditions, optical ‘Defog’ and built-in IR LEDs to capture high definition images at night at a distance of up to 500 metres.

The Wisenet XNP-6550RH can surely lay claims having set a new standard for PTZ cameras designed for perimeter protection and wide open area applications.
The Wisenet XNP-6550RH, which is IP66 and IK10 rated for vandal-resistance, and outdoor use in harsh environments utilises progressive scan technology to provide sharp edges on moving subjects and vehicles.
An auto-tracking feature allows operators to monitor the movement of people or vehicles while remaining hands-free, to control other cameras and the Wisenet XNP-6550RH is also able to ‘hand-over’ to cameras covering adjacent areas.
A built-in suite of analytics includes Tampering, Loitering, Directional Detection, Defocus Detection, Fog Detection, Virtual Line, Enter/Exit, Appear/Disappear, Audio Detection, Face Detection, Motion Detection and Sound Classification.
The Wisenet XNP-6550RH allows multiple streams of images to transmit at a variety of frame rates and resolutions to any PC on the network or other devices such as smartphones and tablets. The utilisation of H.265 compression minimises latency, making the manual tracking of moving objects simply. It also features WiseStream II, a complementary compression technology which dynamically controls encoding, balancing quality and compression according to movement in the image. Bandwidth efficiency is improved by up to 99% compared to current H.264 technology when WiseStream II involves H.265 compression.

The ability to store up to 256GB of data via 2 SD/SDHC/SDXC memory slots incorporated into the Wisenet XNP-6550RH, ensures recording option even in case of network failure.

Besides, Hanwha Techwin Launches a Corner Mount Camera. The new Wisenet TNV-7010RC 3 megapixel corner mount camera designed to meet the requirements of police, prisons and mental health institutions where there is a duty of care to prevent inmates and patients from self-harming.
The new IP CCTV camera has a built-in 940nm IR emitter which projects infrared light up to 10 metres. The 940nm wavelength is invisible to the human eye and avoids the risk of disturbing those sleeping in secure rooms. The true day/night camera which captures clear, sharp colour images when the light levels are as low as 0.3Lux, also features Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which performs at up to 120dB, to accurately produce images in scenes that simultaneously contain very bright and very dark areas.
Protecting the privacy of an inmate or a patient masking zones can be configured precisely over a specific area of the camera’s field of view, while a built-in microphone and audio speaker facilitates two-way communication.

The multi-streaming H.265 Wisenet TNV-7010RC has a long list of additional features which benefit operators monitoring the open areas of police, prisons and mental health institutions. These include a built-in suite of analytics such as Tampering, Loitering, Directional Detection, Defocus Detection, Fog Detection, Virtual Line, Enter/Exit, Appear / Disappear, Audio Detection, Face Detection, Motion Detection, and Sound Classification. A ‘Hallway View’ provides a highly effective way to monitor narrow vertical areas such as corridors as it enables cameras which can generate images in the 9:16 x 3:4 aspect ratio, to work effectively in tall and narrow spaces.

As a late new year bonus, the four sensors Wisenet PNM-9081VQ 20 Megapixel Multi-directional 360˚ camera is among the winners of the Network Cameras category in Asmag.com’s Buyers’ Choice Awards; while PNM-9000VQ won the Gold in the 2018 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards.
